Dough: 400g flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 3 teaspoons sesame seeds, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 250ml water
Filling: 3 handful baby spinach, 2 carrots, 1 red onion, 1 clove of garlic
Spice Mix: 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon cumin, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
Let’s start with the dough …
Give all the dough ingredients in a bowl and knead them. Either with your hands or if you have one, your food processor with dough hook.
Knead the dough about 5 minutes. Until it is released from the bowl.
Give a towel over the bowl and let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
So… In the meantime, we are preparing the filling.
Give plenty of olive oil in a pan and add the sliced onion, finely chopped carrot and crushed garlic clove into it.
Fry everything until the ingredients are soft.
Add the spice mixture and mix again.
Now add the fresh spinach.
Continue to stir until the spinach is tender and all the ingredients are mixed together.
Take the dough out of the bowl and divide it into three equal parts.
These are rolled into a round round pieces and in the middle add a third of the vegetable filling it.
Flap the dough together and press the ends together. Flap them so that they stick together even better.
Now add a little oil in a pan.
Fry the bread pieces over medium to high heat for 3-4 minutes per side.
